Important Message Regarding Edits 646 and 647

 DDPS is experiencing unnecessarily high reject rates because plans are reporting "Estimated Rebate at Point of Sale" and "Vaccine Administration Fee" incorrectly.  Please be reminded that validity edit 646 - "Estimated Rebate at Point of Sale amount is missing or invalid" and edit 647 - " Vaccine Administration Fee Amount is missing or invalid" enforce different values for dates of service before and after 2008. For dates of service effective January 1, 2008 forward both edits require values > = zero; values must be zero or spaces for dates of service prior to 2008.
